From Vacaville, California, Build Us Airplanes brings the rock! The four-piece offers up a balance of punk energy and ernest lyrics in the spirit of Hot Water Music, Springsteen and Archers of Loaf. Their first vinyl release, At The End of the Day starts out strong via the juggernaut "The Running Song" and carries the listener with them through a dynamic set of tunes that showcase the band's ability to work with a variety of styles. The group has effectively been on a hiatus since 2013, with drummer Matthew Kadi now a full-time member of Great Apes, vocalist/guitarist Richard Russell and bassist Dorsey Thompson now performing in Reverse The Knife, and guitarist David Goss on full-time dad duties.
